Balloon Insurance
Balloon insurance covers objective civil liability for Passengers (bodily injury). The purpose of this guarantee is to repair the bodily injury suffered by Passengers not responsible for the Accident, excluding the members of the Crew.
We can insure the private or commercial use of the balloon, taking into account that some Companies require in any case a DOCUMENT PRIOR TO EMBARKATION according to which: the pilot is obliged, under penalty of invalidity of the civil liability guarantees, to warn the Passengers carried about the possible dangers and unforeseen events inherent to a hot-air balloon flight and in particular those concerning landings in the field. Therefore, the pilot undertakes to distribute to the Passengers a note explaining the inflation operations as well as the flight and landing rules in order to make the Passengers aware of the dangers to which they are exposed.
A copy of this note, signed by each Passenger, must be kept by the pilot and must be communicated to the Company upon first request. This document must be kept for a period of one month. If this document is not communicated to the Company, an excess of 625 EUR per Accident or series of Accidents resulting from the same event involving the pilot’s civil liability towards the Third Parties carried shall be applied.
